Even though the top is glass, Nottage developed something called Vitrik, which allows it to have the same rolling resistance as a traditional felt surface. This makes the balls have a “floating on air” effect as they glide across the table. The glass is also 4-6 times stronger than glass, so you won’t need to worry about breaking it.
