It’s time you step up that old school point and shoot digital camera you’ve got, and check out the new Nikon D90 digital SLR camera. The D90 feautures 12.3 megapixel image quality, but it doesn’t just stop at still images. It also allows for a cinematic 24fps D-Movie mode to allow you to shoot 7290 HD video. You can do continuous shooting, as fast a 4.5 times per second, always useful when taking pictures of that bikini model. It even allows you to do in-camera image editing on the 3″ LCD to do things like reduce red-eye, add a fisheye effect, and much more. An optional GP-1 GPS unit can even provide automatic real-time geo-tagging. The camera body itself is $999.95, but keep in mind you’ll need a lens if you don’t already have one.
