Oakley Minute Machine Titanium Watch

Oakley Minute Machine Watch

Typically when you think of Oakley, you think sunglasses…but how about a high-end watch series?  That’s exactly where the Minute Machine watch from Oakley comes in.  Made from titanium, it’s extremely lightweight.  The Swiss chronograph uses 13-jewel movement which measures cumulative intermediate time and split time.  It’s priced at $1,195, and of course you can use it under 330 feet of water.

URWERK 103T The Tarantula

Urwek 103T The Tarantula

Our friends over at Exotics & Luxury recently made a post about the Urwek 103T Tarantula watch, simply a work of art on your wrist. The watch is constructed of high grade titanium and aluminum alloys, as well as relying on ARCAP 40 (an alloy primarily composed of copper and nickel with no magnetic proprieties and a high resistance to corrosion). When each hour passes, the satellites perform four 120 degree turns as the cross makes its cycle before they are ready to complete their task for another hour.  We couldn’t find any definitive pricing (it’s definitely over $1,000), but we’ve read that Urwerk is considered the Bentley of watches.  We saw some numbers as high as $170,000 for a watch from another collection.
