Woodnotes ROO Chair: A Big Pillow

Just seeing a picture of this thing makes me want to go take a nap, it looks so comfortable. From the Spring 2009 Woodnotes catalog, they introduce the ROO chair, which have no frame, and have more of a bean bag feel. It’s upholstered in a removable and changeable sand fabric, and the filling offers a mixture of materials that is guaranteed to stay in shape. Designed by Ulla Koskinen, the chair is imported from Finland, can be ordered in either stone-white or natural white, and is available for $1,900.

Guys love modern, simplistic things, it’s part of our nature.  That’s why we welcome the $1,617 fireplace from designer Carsten Gollnick.  Available in either high gloss white or semi-gloss black, the “Lounge Fire” will add style to any room.  The fireplace is made of steel, but powder-coated to give it some color.  The cover is magnetic, and can be placed underneath the fire fireplace while it’s burning.  An optional glass cover can be had for about $150.
